Wallis is one of Utah's most talented and successful oil painters. He is a member of the Society of American Impressionists, The Society of Plein Air Artists of America and the Northern California Society of Plein Air Painters and he has received the Oregon Trail National Show's Sweepstakes Award and Springville Museum Salon's Juror's Choice Award.
