Japanese painter Ikenaga Yasunari's [池永康晟] serene and soothing portraits of modern women evoke a dreamy nostalgia through their faded golden hues and elegant floating poses. Using a Menso brush, mineral pigments, and soot ink on linen cloth, Yasunari continues the ancient tradition of Nihonga painting while simultaneously bringing modern elements to play, such as present-day clothing styles and floral textile designs. The result is both beautiful and melancholy, capturing the timelessness of the Nihonga style as well as its dimming presence through the years.

French painter Gaston La Touche [1854-1913] post-impressionist painter, draughtsman and pastellist was a leading colorist of the late nineteenth/early twentieth centuries, who associated with all the important artists of the period. He was close friends with many of the Impressionists, but chose to follow an independent path in both technique and subject matter. His extraordinary imagination revealed itself in his wonderful depictions of monkeys, fetes, balls, theatrical subjects and interiors, all tinged with a wry sense of humor. His Versailles-inspired firework and fountain paintings are unique in quality and spectrum of color. Neglected for almost a century, with little or no research, La Touche's work is now being re-evaluated. In both commercial and art-historical circles, his paintings are now highly sought after.

1996 - Became a member of the Belarusian Artists Union;

2004 - Joined the “Artel” Association;
2005 - Became a grant holder of the Ministry of Culture of Belarus.

La "Favola d'Amore" di Hermann Hesseè un sogno, una favola illustrata da lui stesso e dedicata a Ruth Wenger, cantante lirica che diventò seconda moglie di Hesse due anni dopo la pubblicazione del manoscritto.
Appena giunto in paradiso Pictor si trovò dinnanzi ad un albero che era insieme uomo e donna. Pictor salutò l'albero con riverenza e chiese: "Sei tu l'albero della vita?". Ma quando, invece dell'albero, volle rispondergli il serpente, egli si voltò e andò oltre. Era tutt'occhi, ogni cosa gli piaceva moltissimo. Sentiva chiaramente di trovarsi nella patria e alla fonte della vita.
E di nuovo vide un albero, che era insieme sole e luna. Pictor chiese: "Sei tu l'albero della vita?".

  • Il coloreè un mezzo di esercitare sull'anima un'influenza diretta. Il coloreè un tasto, l'occhio il martelletto che lo colpisce, l'anima lo strumento dalle mille corde.
  • Mi sembrava che l'anima viva dei colori emettesse un richiamo musicale, quando l'inflessibile volontà del pennello strappava loro una parte di vita.
